One day a shepherd discovered a fat pig in the meadow where his Sheep were pastured. He very quickly captured the porker, which squealed at the top of its voice the moment the Shepherd laid his hands on it. You would have thought, to hear the loud squealing, that the pig was being cruelly hurt. But in spite of its squeals and struggles to escape, the Sheperd tucked his prize under his arm and started off to the butcher’s in the market place.
 
        一天，牧羊人在自己放羊的草地上，发现了一只长得肥肥壮壮的小猪。他立刻就抓住了这头小肥猪。就在牧羊人的手碰到自己时，小猪用尽力气，长声尖叫。听到这种叫声，你应该能想到，这头猪一定遭受着残忍的伤害。可是，尽管它不停惨叫，拼命挣扎，想逃脱魔抓，牧羊人还是紧紧把自己的战利品夹在腋下，出发去市场找屠夫。

         “That is all very well,” replied the pig, with a squeal and a frantic kick. “When he catches you he is only after your wool. But he wants my bacom! gree-ee-ee!”
 
         “没错，但是，”猪一边狂踢乱舞，一边激烈抗议着说，“他抓你们，是想要你们的羊毛；然而他抓到我，是想让我变成咸肉。吱”
