A:What’s the matter? Have you lost your way?
B: Oh, no. Looks up there. Look at that signpost.
A: It’s pointing to the International primary School.
B: Ah, it is just what I’m looking for. I joined a class in Grade three.
This is my first time to go to school.
A: Welcome to our school! Come and see some more of it.
Do you want me to show me to show you around the school?
B: Sure! It’s so nice of you.
A: This is our school campus.
B: It looks big, and very beautiful. We can play outdoor games and do some sports here, can’t we?
A: yes. Sometimes, we hold great activities also.
B: I’m fond of sports. Do you think I’m big enough to join the school sports teams?
A: Of course! We have a number of sports teams for different ages. Our school is noted for sports education. Last year we came first in terms of an aggregate score in the primary schools chess Teams competition in Changning District.
B: Great! I’m a chess enthusiast, too. Look, how high is that tallest school building over there?
A: It’s has five floors. There are classrooms and teachers’ offices on each floor.
B: Does the school have libraries and language laboratories?
A: yes, we do. On the top floor, there’s a library and a language laboratory beside each other. Either of the two has its own computer system and excellent facilities.
And on the ground floor, there’s a big auditorium. It can up to 600 people or so.
B: Very impressive! What do you think of the teachers?
A: They are all nice and helpful enough. We hold our teachers in high esteem. Well, we hold our teachers in high esteem. Well also have some foreign teachers. Now, could
you tell me if you are pleased with your new school?
B: Oh, it’s wonderful and very modern. I like it very much.
A: I’m so glad. Everybody does.
B: I’ll try to fit in at my new school as soon as possible.
